Helpful Tips for Gluten Free Dairy Free Pumpkin Bread

Here are some top tips to ensure your gluten-free, dairy-free pumpkin bread turns out perfectly:

Measure Ingredients Precisely: For gluten-free baking, accurate measurements are crucial. Use a kitchen scale for measuring ingredients to ensure consistent measuring of your ingredients every single time you bake!

Use High Quality Baking Pans: To get the most beautifully baked bread, its important to use high quality baking pans. I love using this Loaf Pan for baking loafs like this recipe! Don’t Over-Bake: Keep an eye on your bread as it bakes. Over-baking can lead to a dry and crumbly texture. Use a toothpick to check for doneness — it should come out clean or with a few moist crumbs attached.

Let it Cool Completely: Allow the bread to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack. Cooling completely prevents it from crumbling when sliced.

Experiment with Add-Ins: Get creative with add-ins like chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruits for extra texture and flavor.

Frequently

Asked Questions:

Does baking powder have gluten in it?

No need to worry my friends, baking powder is naturally gluten free! But it’s always a good idea to check the label because there could be a possibility of cross-contamination.

What can I use in place of oil in pumpkin bread?

Butter is always a good substitute for oil, but in order to keep this recipe dairy free I highly recommend using this plant-based butter! I have always had great success using it whenever I’ve made my recipes dairy free.

What are quick breads?

Quick breads are like the superheroes of the baking world! They’re amazing breads that you can make in a jiffy without any yeast. Think of your favorite banana bread, zucchini bread, or, in our case, this incredible Gluten Free Dairy Free Pumpkin Bread! They rise thanks to baking powder or baking soda, making them a super quick and easy option for satisfying your bread cravings. Plus, they’re perfect for those times when you need a freshly baked treat without all the waiting around.
